Ms. Celarent
is back on her theory that history moves from bad to better and points to the wrong
things from the past to prove her point. Iimi and her friends are skeptical, giving
examples that question her theory and pointing out that truth can be neglected at
a later age.
Pre-Comic Notes:
Veritas
Calendario Non Regitur
means "Truth is not governed by the calendar."
Sequere veritatem quocumque perducit means "Follow the truth wherever it leads."
Post-Comic
Notes:
CS Lewis' Mere
Christianity inspired some of Iimi's arguments (the Middle Ages and witchcraft,
and a new morality). It's a book worth reading, especially as a comic can’t do
justice to his presentation.
